The Hague, May 23, 2023- After a successful partnership, Main Capital Partners announces the sale of supply chain sustainability software provider, ChainPoint, to Source Intelligence, a software provider for product compliance and ESG management. During Mains’ investment period, ChainPoint has experienced substantial growth offering its customers an innovative software platform for monitoring and securing supply chains. ParkerGale Capital backs the sale of ChainPoint to Source Intelligence in a mutual effort to establish an overseas presence.

ChainPoint specializes in helping companies monitor supply chains by connecting systems and sharing information. The company’s secure, cloud-based platform allows users to manage and share product, process, and supplier information from raw material to finished product. The flexibility and scalability of ChainPoint’s software enable applicability in any industry, commodity, and supply chain.

In true partnership, ChainPoint management and Main have successfully developed the company into a recurring SaaS business with a blue-chip international client base across various industries. Furthermore, a continuous focus on innovation has resulted in a modern and scalable tech platform allowing ChainPoint to execute its growth strategy for the coming years.

Pieter van Bodegraven, Chairman at ChainPoint and Senior Partner at Main, comments, “GRC and compliance-related software segments are part of our key focus areas within Main. During our investment period, we were able to help scale up the organization internationally while accelerating the company’s growth strategy in an increasingly profitable way.”

Source Intelligence offers a spectrum of sustainable supply chain management solutions, from powerful compliance software to expertly managed service options. The company is active in, among others, the Retail, Electronics, and Manufacturing industries. Through the acquisition of ChainPoint, Source Intelligence will be able to realize its ambitions of gaining a stronger foothold in Europe.

“Joining forces with Source Intelligence will consolidate our position in international markets and further strengthen the innovation and quality of service our team brings to existing and new customers,” added Johan Zandbergen, Founder and CEO at ChainPoint.

Moving forward, ChainPoint will establish a European presence for Source Intelligence. There is a strong strategic fit between the two companies, both supporting their clients in managing and improving sustainable supply chains while reducing costs and risks. Together they can offer a broader solution that will add value to their clients and other stakeholders worldwide.

“The acquisition of ChainPoint allows us to trace more raw materials back to their source and expands our ability to serve customers in other industries, including food, apparel, and retail,” comments Glenn Trout, CEO of Source Intelligence. “With a broader range of Supply Chain Compliance and Transparency solutions, we are better positioned to serve our rapidly growing global customer base.”
