Unigrains

French grain growers, founders of Unigrains, decided back in 1963 to invest in the agri-food sector to support the promotion of grains and other crops throughout the value chain. Besides French grain growers, Unigrains is also linked to leading French banks: Crédit Agricole, Société Générale and BNP Paribas, all of which have taken stakes in its capital. An equity of €M 850 guarantees Unigrains' total independence. For 55 years, Unigrains has been the reference partner for French and international companies in the agri-food and agri-industrial sectors. Its mission: to participate in the development and strengthening of the agri-food and agribusiness sectors by promoting the emergence of leading companies in the respective fields. Its strategy: Unigrains invests directly as a minority shareholder in the agri-food and agri-industrial sectors (In the context of equity strengthening (organic growth and or acquisitions), and/or the reorganisation of the shareholder structure (purchase of minority shareholdings, optimisation of assets). Unigrains builds partnerships based on an industrial approach rather than purely financial criteria. Unigrains supports companies of all sizes and in accordance with the calendar and constraints of their projects. Our modalities are adapted to the company's needs (shares, convertible bonds, subscription warrants). As a long-term partner, Unigrains prefers a mutual approach and a strong partnership based on trust to develop a common strategic plan. Unigrains supports its partners in their reflection on international development opportunities. The aim is to contribute to value creation, develop our sector expertise and promote the success of cross-border activities. Unigrains is continuing its international development strategy in Europe and the rest of the world by exploring investment opportunities in high-potential geographical areas to support our partners in addressing the key issues that the agri-food industry will face tomorrow.
