iStar Medical!  iStar Medical was founded in 2011, is based in Wavre and specializes in ophthalmic implants for the treatment of glaucoma, the second most important cause of blindness in adults worldwide, impacting more than 92 million people.

The other nominees were:

PDC*line Pharma, a clinical stage biotech company developing a new class of potent and scalable active immunotherapies for cancers.

Unifly developed a user friendly technology including Unmanned Traffic Management, Drone Operations Management and Air Security Management. Unifly makes drone aviation approachable for everyone in the airspace.

In the category Growth company of the year, our winner was:

Cegeka is a leading European IT solutions provider. The company was established in 1992 and specializes in multi-cloud services, cloud orchestration, managed services and optimization of applications, infrastructure and business processes and takes care of the development and integration of applications, eco-systems and platforms.

the other nominees were:

CluePoints is the premier provider of Risk-Based Study Execution (RBx) and Data Quality Oversight Software. Its products utilize comprehensive statistical algorithms to determine the quality, accuracy, and integrity of clinical trial data both during and after study conduct

OncoDNA is a leader in personalised molecular analysis for cancer patients. It develops software for data interpretation and reporting, These medical innovations assist medical doctors with treatment choice and/or provide better monitoring of tumor evolution in patients.

And last but not least, the winner in the category Buy-out company of the year, was:

Destiny NV/SA, established in 2008 is a secure cloud communication solutions provider, serving innovative companies offers cloud based and UcaaS (a service streamlining all corporate communications tools) communication services. Destiny is the leading alternative and fourth B2B telecom operator in Belgium.

The other nominees were:

Amadys provides passive network equipment solutions to utility networks, including fixed and mobile telecom networks, water, gas and electricity grids, as well as to general industrial players in Belgium and neighbouring countries.

CID LINES is a leader in disinfectants for combatting infectious animal diseases.
