Tom Van de Voorde

Tom Van de Voorde is Head of Smart Industries and member of executive committee of Gimv. Tom joined Gimv in 2007 within the Buyout & Growth Belgium team. In 2013, he became part as a partner of the Smart Industries platform with a focus to invest in companies in which technology or technical expertise drives their value. Before being active in Private Equity, Tom worked at NIBC as Head of M&A in Belgium and started professionally at Bank Degroof in its investment banking team. Besides Gimv, he is active through Board of Directors/Advice.

Tom holds a Business Engineering degree of KULeuven and obtained a MBA of ChicagoBooth (University of Chicago).
