M&A Trends & Insights with Frans Muller (CEO Ahold Delhaize)

President and CEO of Ahold Delhaize, Mr Frans Muller was one of the initiators and enablers of the merger between Ahold and Delhaize Group. During a keynote speech, Mr. Muller will highlight what the driving forces of both shareholders were, what obstacles were encountered and what specific actions were taken to end up with this successful deal. Mr. Muller, who is also a board member of Vlerick Business School, will give us some insights in the planned integration, the synergies realised so far and share his personal learnings in this process. Finally, he will give us his vision on the future of the retail sector and, Ahold Delhaize’s strategy.

A panel of experts with Christel Van den Eynden (Liedekerke) and Prof. Philippe Haspeslagh (Chairman ARDO and former Dean Vlerick Business School) will comment and debate. Marc Cosaert (EY) and Wim De Vilder (VRT) will moderate the debate and a networking reception will close the evening.This evening is a must for business owners, board members, CEOs and MBI/MBO candidates who want to gain more insight into take-overs/divestments and learn from the M&A experience of leading companies.
