The BVA has a few Committees which serve as fora or organizational bodies for the development of activities on specific subjects of interest of the VC/PE Community. Each Committee is chaired by a Member of the Board of Directors and includes a number of our members with expertise in the domain of the committee.
Education Committee
The education committee offers its members access to knowledge, by organizing the BVA workshops and the BVA Academy. Every year, the BVA organises four workshops on tpoics of interest for the industry Every two years, the BVA Academy welcomes in a two-day seminar new professionals who entered the industry to give a good immersion into the world of private equity and venture capital.
The education committee also adresses the needs of the general public and other stakeholders. It seeks to give the general public insights in the behaviour and practice of Private Equity and Venture Capital. The Committee also makes the information and content of the BVA communications accessible to outside groups.
